GUIDES Guided tour “engine evolution”

A collection of more than a hundred vehicles, including horse-drawn carriages and cars bodied by D’Ieteren, plunges us into the history of the automobile. This year, the D’Ieteren Gallery is honouring Volkswagen on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the brand in Belgium. On 17 March 1948, Pierre D’Ieteren, director of “Anciens Etablissements D’Ieteren Frères”, signed the import contract with Volkswagen. A few months later, the famous Beetle was available in Belgium.
