Contest ‘Spot the oddity’

This year, the Nocturnes are already on their twenty-fifth edition. So, the oldest project of Brussels Museums, the federation of museums in Brussels, is already a quarter of a century old. And we do not want to let this anniversary of the Nocturnes go unnoticed. Take part as a visitor in the unique ‘Spot the oddity’ competition, and who knows, maybe you will win a wonderful prize package!

The prize package consists of a duo ticket for Museum Night Fever 2025, a unique Museum Night Fever bag and a poster from our archive of one of the past 5 editions of the Nocturnes.

For seven Thursdays, two museums, open on the same night, will choose an object from their collection and exhibit it in the other museum. That means there is one object in those two museums that does not belong in the collection. Can you find this unusual object?

Contest rules:

  •  Every Nocturne, two museums exchange an object with each other and place it in the museum.
  • In these two museums, visitors can search for the object.
  • Think you have found the object? Then write or draw the object on a voting paper and deposit it in the contest box. Both the voting papers and the contest box can be found in the two museums. You can submit one voting paper per person per museum.
  • After the last Nocturne on 24 April, ten winners will be drawn blind to win the prize package!

You increase your chance if you visit both museums per Nocturne night, because then you can vote twice, but it is certainly not mandatory.

Are you curious about the participating museums? You will find them on the Programme page of this website and can recognise them by the “Binoculars” icon!
