Enter the architectural pearl of Art Deco: Villa Empain. In 2006, the Boghossian Foundation restored this former private residence and transformed its function into an arts centre, where each year several exhibitions are presented.
EXPO For the first time in Belgium, the exhibition pays tribute to Josef and Anni Albers, pioneers of modernism, their fundamental contribution to the history of twentieth-century art, and their legacy, through almost 100 works.
GUIDED TOUR What better setting to exhibit the work of Josef and Anni Albers than a villa, a masterpiece of Art Deco architecture that announced the advent of Modernism, originally designed as a couple’s home? Each in their own way, Louis Empain and the Albers loved beauty.
