The history of Meise Botanic Garden goes back more than 200 years. It is one of the largest botanic gardens in the world: 92 hectares full of plants. Immerse yourself in the tropics in the Plant Palace, get to know the rich history in the Castle, or discover the new Island Garden.

FREE WALK Especially for the Nocturnes, Meise Botanic Garden throws open its gates for visitors to enjoy an extended evening walk in the beautiful botanical garden. Follow the mapped out walk at your own pace to discover the rich collection of flora in the most beautiful spots. Our passionate guides will be happy to give you more explanations at some top locations.

EXPO From 1 May to 30 September 2024, Botanic Garden Meise and Cultuurvuur vzw will present the surprising exhibition Biennale Natura Inspiratus for the fourth time. More than fifty artists and art collectives 50+ created one or more works of art for exactly that spot in the Botanical Garden. Art and nature in a beautiful symbiosis!

GUIDED TOUR Guides from Cultuurvuur vzw lead you past the variety of artworks at the Biennale Natura Inspiratus. In addition, enjoy the free walk at your own pace.
