The MigratieMuseumMigration is located on rue des Ateliers in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. The museum tells the story of immigrant workers, of the first arrivals at Le Petit Château, of expatriates, of Europeans who moved freely within the EU, and also pays tribute to the many migrants who have helped shape the city.
EXPO The MigratieMuseumMigration tells the story of Brussels’ superdiversity through around sixty showcases featuring personal stories, immersive artworks, and interactive tools. The museum highlights demographic changes and offers a profound reflection on the cultural identity and diversity of Belgium’s capital.
EXPO The photo exhibition Children in War Zone captures poignant moments from the daily lives of children affected by conflicts. Through portraits, it reveals the realities of war while raising awareness.
WORKSHOP The MigratieMuseumMigrationhosts a creative evening with Combo Toys. Create masks or sculptures from recycled plastic, explore themes of identity, diversity, and ecology, and leave with a photo souvenir of a moment of expression and shared creativity.
