Arte-fac Albert Couvreur Museum

The Albert Couvreur Museum is located in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert on the campus of UCLouvain Bruxelles Woluwe. The collection comprises a number of pharmacy objects reminiscent of 18th-century dispensaries. 

EXPO The Albert Couvreur Museum at UCLouvain is overflowing with pharmacy jars, chemical utensils, books and precious objects reminiscent of 18th-century dispensaries. The entire collection was bequeathed by Albert Couvreur, a Belgian pharmacist. Find out how people used to seek medicine for their ailments here. 

Attention: The museum is free. To visit the museum, a reservation for the performance is necessary.

PERFORMANCE The generous CEO of the Grande Droguerie Poétique will be presenting a selection of his indispensable imaginary products at the heart of the Couvreur Museum. Seated behind the magnificent counter of the 18th-century dispensary, he will be offering tastings of his therapoetic linguistic treats capable of transforming and even creating reality. His artistic approach and scientific research will fill the empty bottles with meaning and wordplay. It’s a moment to turn around the jars together…
