ULB – Museum of pharmacy and medicinal plants

In the middle of the vast and green campus of the ULB lies the cosy Museum of Medicinal plants and Pharmacy. Among the many students, you will also find the Physics Experimentarium and the Chemistry Experimentarium. Here you can learn all about the forces of nature! The Alumni House (UAE), located on the ULB campus between the 3 museums, is also the place to go for a little rest and enjoy a drink.

EXPO Discover the use of plants for therapeutic purposes throughout different eras. The museum’s collection brings together samples and models of medicinal plants, ancient and contemporary pharmaceutical products as well as devices for extracting, analysing and preparing medicines.

GUIDED TOUR Enjoy a visit with a member of the museum staff who will show you the permanent collection from different angles. (Continuously throughout the evening, only in EN and FR, max. 8 people per guided visit)

WORKSHOP Indulge in a range of workshops on the use of medicinal plants, including a memory game on dye plants, a game on recognising essential oils and other on-site discoveries.
