Spontaneous Art Museum

The Spontaneous Art Museum is located on rue de la Constitution in Schaerbeek. It is an exhibition space for various forms of non-codified artistic expression.   

EXPO From its first steps, the Spontaneous Art Museum dreamed of itself as an open door to unique creation. In this wide range from naive art to art brut, artists find in the notion of spontaneity a positive criteria allowing their work to be illuminated to its true value. The very essence of the Spontaneous Art Museum: the encounter as the greatest promise. 

EXPO Artist Nathan Haddad: ‘My work doesn’t represent landscapes or characters per se – it’s the expression of a shared vital force, an experiment in randomness and order. It’s a no man’s land. The works are like windows, where the viewer can look towards an imaginary horizon, into the distance, to reach their own inner land. A visual meditation to seek greater perspectives beyond̀ oneself, an invitation to be totally present.’  

WORKSHOP Dive into the heart of a spontaneous lively art par excellence! Capoeira, a martial art form practiced to music. It can be practiced and learned at any age. The initiations, guided by Professora Goiaba for Le Colectivo Acotirene, will cover learning attack, defense/dodge and other movements, as well as a song, accompanied by the musical instruments of this art which combines Yin and Yang in perfect alchemy under the coordinates of lively, shared improvisation!
