BEHIND THE SCENES Confessions of a housekeeper

OPEN MUSEUM Visit in French-Belgian sign language (LSFB)

Paid entrance, no reservation required.

LAB·AN is a space promoting Art Nouveau and offering a contemporary take on this Brussels heritage. Located in a building listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it makes the hôtel van Eetvelde, an Art Nouveau jewel designed by Victor Horta, accessible to the public.

BEHIND THE SCENES Madam Eugénie, the former head housekeeper of the van Eetvelde family, shares her vivid memories. She takes you to a place normally not accessible to the public: the old kitchen of the mansion. Expect juicy anecdotes, hidden stories and a unique glimpse behind the scenes of the Belle Époque, where history and architecture come together.
