Charlier Museum

Confront yourself in the Charlier Museum, a stately 19th-century mansion close to the Parc de Bruxelles, with the difficulty of being a woman painter. Women artists have long been ignored and underestimated. This exhibition gives them a voice. Attention focuses on works from the museum’s permanent collection, for example by Adèle Kindt, Jenny Montigny, Jenny Bernier-Hoppe, Juliette Wytsman, Marguerite Verboeckhoven and Marguerite Putsage, and others.

EXPO Come and discover contemporary textile works inspired by various traditions. A number of female designers from immigrant backgrounds will be present in the museum. In collaboration with Eyad.
